Process & Lead Times:

Despite being a stock product, this item requires printing and thus incurs a 4 days lead time. (business days)

  • Please download the template for this product and use it to create your "print-ready" artwork as outlined in the “Required Artwork” section below. Templates are available as High-Resolution PDF files and can be downloaded by clicking the links at the top of this page.
  • Within 24 hours (1 business day) of submission of your "print-ready" artwork, you will receive an email with a digital proof for your approval.
  • We will not proceed with printing until we receive your formal approval of this proof. Production lead times commence AFTER your approval of the proof sent by the print team.
  • We cannot be held responsible for delays in lead times resulting from failure to approve the digital proof.

Required Artwork:

PRINT READY ARTWORK MUST BE SUPPLIED.

Please read carefully and follow the instructions below as failure to meet the requirements could result in delays to the printing/cutting of your job.

  • Cut to Shape and Frosted Cut artwork must be supplied with "closed vectored cut line/s". Cut lines are to be placed on the "cut layer" of the template. Having cut lines overlap one another is not acceptable and should be merged to form one continuous line of the shape to be cut. Examples of these closed cut lines can be found here.
  • When providing cut lines for a printed cut to shape item please ensure at least 2mm of artwork falls outside the cut line to ensure there is no white vinyl runoff. Please refer to the example guide illustrating some key points on how to prepare your file for Square cut, Cut to Shape and Frosted Cut Lectern Graphics.
  • Cut lines must be submitted in Vector format. These files are created in programs such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw (and saved in formats such as AI, PDF & EPS).
  • All fonts must be converted to outlines.
  • Your graphic can be any size as long as it falls within the 350mm x 550mm print\cut margin.
  • Artwork must be created in CMYK colour mode. Colours may not be accurate when converted from other colour modes.
  • Please note that because of the way we see light, colours printed with ink look different to colours displayed on a computer screen. It is therefore essential that the correct corporate colours be specified by the client before printing. Providing pantone (PMS) colours from the Color Bridge Coated book ensures the colours are printed as close as possible to your corporate colours.

Accepted File Formats:

  • When supplying assests for design packages: Adobe Illustrator .AI or .EPS files.
  • High-Resolution PDF files for print ready art.

Please note: We are unable to accept any other file formats.

Safe Areas, Trim Lines & Guides:

  • The "Safe Area" on the template is the area that will be clearly visible after the graphic is installed.
  • The "Trim Line" is where the graphic will be cut out. Anything beyond this area will be trimmed off the finished graphic.
  • All other guides or instructions detailed in the template should be observed and followed; this may include "Bleed Line", "Obstructed Areas", "Folds", "Seam Lines", "Focal Areas", "Cut-Outs" and "Eyelets".

Submitting Your Files:

  • Files can be uploaded to your order via logging into your account.
  • If you are unable to upload via your account, files less than 20MB can be emailed to artwork@slimlinewarehouse.com.au
  • Files larger than 300MB will need to be sent through an external file transfer service.

Colour Matching:

All our printed graphics are created using the CMYK process. The best way to match colours using this process is with a bridge booklet. We recommend using the Pantone Coated Color Bridge Guide book as a basepoint or a point of reference for colour matching.

If your artwork is colour-critical — meaning the accuracy of the colours in your graphics are essential to your display, we require that all steps below are followed:

  • Note all colour critical information in the notes section of your order or contact a member of our team so they can note this on your order.
  • A print ready file with the correct swatch colour information labelled within the file.
  • In lieu of nominating PMS swatches, a physical copy must be sent to the print team.

When all the above is provided, we will do everything in our means to accurately match colours.

Differences in colours and tones can also be caused by variations in the output of viewing devices. Unless your viewing device has been calibrated, the colours you see on your device will differ slightly from the printed output. For these reasons, if the highlighted points above are not adhered to, we are not able to accept colour variation as a reason for complaints or refunds.
